Teresa Gayle Stevenson left this world on February 6, 2025. She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma, on May 24, 1963, to Tobie Bruner and Josephine Stevenson.
Teresa was raised in Wewoka and graduated from Wewoka High School. Later, she lived in Oklahoma City for a while before moving to Shawnee, Oklahoma, with her husband, Willie Tramble.
Teresa raised two daughters, Tyera and Whitley. She loved being a mother, but nothing compared to when she became a “GranMa” to her first grandchild, Lexi “Lil Ma” Jones, who lives in The Colony, Texas. She absolutely loved all her grandchildren. She also loved spending time visiting with her family and being a blessing to others. She taught us it was always better to be a blessing—“It’s a blessing to be a blessing.”
Teresa was predeceased by her mother and father; her baby, Whitney Tramble; and her brother, Gary Bruner.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Willie Tramble; daughters, Whitley Smith (Richard) of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Tyera Miller (Jay) of The Colony, Texas; bonus children, Shawnessee Simmons (Markee) of Abilene, Texas, and Marland Tramble of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind one brother, Terry Stevenson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; uncle, Willie Stevenson of Wewoka, Oklahoma; numerous close cousins, nieces and nephews, and several beloved grandchildren who will miss her dearly but know it was a blessing to have her in their life, as she was a blessing to all of us.
