Richard Alan Jacobs

Richard Alan Jacobs passed from this life on November 5, 2024. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on April 9, 1951, to Calvin and Patsy (Curtess) Jacobs.

Richard was a member of the marching band and the Thespian Club while attending Shawnee High School, and he graduated in 1969. After high school, he attended East Central in Ada, Oklahoma. He learned the brick masonry trade from his dad and continued the family tradition of his grandfather and uncles. He worked for over 35 years, leaving his legacy in the states of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, and Virginia.

In memory of those who have gone before him, Richard was predeceased by his parents, Calvin and Patsy.

Richard is survived by his sister, Annette, and brother-in-law, Patrick Page; nephew, Dwayne Duncan, his wife, Christina, and their daughters, Taylor and Emily; nephew, Dustin Duncan and his children, Sebastien, Annika, Malachi, and Jonah.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m., at C3 Cross Connection Church, 329 N. Pesotum Ave., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
