Rachael Anne Grimes

Rachael Anne Grimes, 53, of Shawnee, Oklahoma went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 14th, 2025.

Rachael was born June 8th, 1971, in Oklahoma City, to Sherrill Martinez and Ronald Autrey. Raised by Sherrill and her husband Larry Martinez in the Shawnee area. She was a 1989 Shawnee High School graduate and spent a short time attending Rose State College after.

In 1994, she met her first love, Scott Oliver. They were married at Treasure Island in 1996. Rachael was a package deal with her first born, Dillon Youngblood alongside them. Two were then three. In 2001, three became four when their son Harley Scott Oliver was born. Saving the best for last, four became five when Dane Riley Oliver completed their family 2002.

Rachael lived a life full of love and laughter. Her jokes were never ending, and her generosity was felt by everyone, friend or stranger. She spent time volunteering at a local community kitchen, as well as being an active member of Living Faith. Finding escape and joy at the lake, Rachael spent long boat days with her closest friends in the sun. Most of all, she found joy in taking care of her family. Whether that be cooking for her boys, spending time with her granddaughters Brailynn and Delilah, or cuddling with her grand pups, Biker, Harley, and Conrad.

Later in life, fate would have it that Rachael met her soulmate and everlasting love, Aron William Grimes. They were married in 2009.

Rachael was loved by many. She was a generous, kind, and fierce woman. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Autry; grandfather, Delbert Ayres; grandmother, Gloria Snider; and everlasting love, Aron Grimes. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Sherrill Martinez of Shawnee; children, Dillon and Lynn Youngblood of Tecumseh, Harley and Maci Oliver of Tecumseh, Dane Oliver of Shawnee; siblings, Amy Gilbert of Dale, Larry and Toni Martinez of Claremore, Kelly Martinez of Tulsa; and two precious grandchildren, Brailynn Irene Youngblood and Delilah Jade Renee Youngblood; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
