Marcella Ann (Emmert) Williams of Dublin, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 66. She was born on July 24, 1957, in Talihina, Oklahoma, to Mark and Florene (Griffin) Emmert.
Marcella was a beautiful spirit who was always full of energy. She spent her whole life caring for the people around her. She loved everyone deeply and always sought to bring love and happiness to everyone she encountered. She did this in the way she raised her children and carried it into her career. As an OB Registered Nurse for over 30 years in Sweetwater, Texas, she helped bring countless children into the world and was a comforting spirit to every mom in those moments. She had the biggest smile and an even louder laugh. She loved being a Momma and Mommacella.
Marcella was predeceased by her father, Mark Emmert of Talihina, Oklahoma, and her son, Robbie Strzelec of Sweetwater, Texas.
Marcella is survived by her spouse, Kenneth Williams; son, Mark James and wife, Jennifer, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter, Stephanie Nahitchevansky and son-in-law, Andrew Nahitchevansky, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; step children: Scott and Paige Williams of Dublin, Texas; Landon and Amanda Williams of Hawley, Texas; Chris and Rachel Williams of Dublin, Texas and Rachel and Martin McDonnell of Roscoe, Texas; grandchildren: Claire, Mitchell, Anna, Leah, Jacob, Bree, Maggie, Peyton, Riggin, Raven, Jaime, Connor, Keighvin, Dayton, Blake, Wyatt and Barrett; mother, Florene Emmert of Owasso, Oklahoma; four sisters: Shirley, Ginger, Brenda and Donna; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, 2:00 pm at Heritage Church, 227 N. Union Avenue, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801. It will be officiated by Jon Haley, family friend and pastor of Hallmark Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas. Pallbearers will be David Caton, Angelo Lacirignola, Jamin Helmick, Mitchell James, Jacob James, Blake Mendoza and Kyle Kirkpatrick.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 12:00 noon at Talihina New Cemetery, 317 Cemetary Road, Talihina, Oklahoma 74571.
The family requests that plants be sent in lieu of flowers.
