Karyn Annette Bright

On November 29, 2024, Karyn Annette Bright lost her battle with severe congestive heart failure way too early in life.

Since birth Karyn had always had a noticeable heart murmur based on a faulty mitral valve. This murmur was of no real concern for the bulk of her life. As she aged this murmur turned into a serious concern and ultimately led to her heart failing. She passed away with her loved ones and a dedicated staff of medical professionals by her side.

Karyn, 58, was born on April 3, 1966. She grew up with wonderful parents, Lorne and Syble Durant, in Harrah, Oklahoma, along with siblings, Marsha, Theresa, Dennis, Preston, and Steve. She always talked very highly of them.

I was glad and honored to provide and care for her over these last 26 years of marriage. With our good luck and hard work, our lives were comfortable, happy, enjoyable, and fun, to say the least. They were all happy years.

Karyn wanted for not and was charitable to a fault. Anyone who knew her knew that she was a wonderful person, had an incredible attitude, lit up any room she was in, and will always be my best friend in the world. She is missed and will always be a missing part of my life.

Karyn is survived by her husband, Carl Bright, and their two children, Alexander Bright and Amber Bright.
