Jamie L. Mitchell

Jamie LeAnn Mitchell, lovingly known as "Sis," passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 44, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born on August 18, 1979. Jamie's family and friends mourn the loss of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Jamie was adored by everyone she encountered. Her kind and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on those around her. She possessed a heart that overflowed with love, and her sweetness was evident in every interaction. Jamie's family held a special place in her heart, and she cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. Whether it was watching them compete in sports, horseback riding, or simply showering them with affection, Jamie's love for her family knew no bounds. She was a source of unwavering support and encouragement, always ready with a warm hug and a listening ear.

In addition to her devotion to her loved ones, Jamie was also dedicated to her professional life. She excelled in her job, earning the admiration and appreciation of her colleagues. Jamie's commitment to excellence was exemplified by an incident where she discovered a vulnerability in her company's computer system. Rather than exploit it, she brought it to their attention, earning their gratitude and respect.

Jamie joined in heaven, her dad, Mark Mitchell; brother, Justin Mitchell; grandmother, Phyllis Mitchell, and uncle, Frank Mitchell, Jr.

Jamie leaves behind her parents, Paul Mitchell of Shawnee, OK, and Ronie Mitchell of Perkins, OK; grandfather, Frank Mitchell, Sr.; siblings--Randy Mitchell, Bradley & Tabitha Mitchell, Steven & Natsuki Mitchell, Ashley & Terry Parks; nieces and nephews--Parker, Chloe, Chase, Stetson, Malachi, Azel, Olivia, Haley, Zoe, and Cameron; lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jamie's life will be celebrated at a ceremony held at AE Funeral Services Chapel, located at 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, OK 74804, on Saturday, February 17, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm (Central time). This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and honor Jamie's memory.

Jamie Leann Mitchell will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
