Ginger Moinette Gregg, age 69, of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023.
Ginger was born October 14, 1953, to Olen and Adele Sanders in Seminole, Oklahoma.
In 1968, Ginger met David Gregg and they were wed on December 26, 1968. They had three wonderful boys: Chris, Jon and Adam.
Ginger was first and foremost a devoted homemaker and loving mother who supported her sons’ activities throughout their school years and beyond. She also worked at Tecumseh and Macomb Public Schools.
Ginger enjoyed gardening, knitting, decorating for holidays, cooking, making special occasion cakes, watching her shows (not Newsmax), fishing and doing her puzzles.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Olen Oscar Sanders and Lillian Adele Sanders; her sister, Sheila Karen Norbury and her granddaughter, Mackenzie Adele Gregg.
Ginger is survived by her husband, David Gregg; son, Chris Gregg and wife, Leslie; son, Jon Gregg and wife, Tallie; son, Adam Gregg and wife, Megan; grandchildren: Destinee Childers and husband, Jake, Colby Gregg, Macey Dickson and husband, Chris, Andrew Gregg and wife, Kassie, Matthew Gregg and wife, Emily, Kailin Canary Vawter and husband, Noah, Ashton Gregg, Cameron Gregg, Damon Gregg, Tobie Mitchell, Tyller Mitchell and Karsyn Gregg; great-grandchildren: Kaydence Childers, Colton Childers, Rylan Childers, Annabelle Childers, Lydia Gregg, Sophia Gregg, CJ Gregg, Elijah Gregg and Linkoln Embry; sister, Vicki Cheryl Newell and husband, Eddie; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She will be remembered for her generous and loving heart and her unapologetically unfiltered personality that always brought joy and laughter to all those around her.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Avoca Cemetery in Asher, Oklahoma.
