"Revelation 21:4 King James Version: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

George Walter Miller, age 71, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on January 17, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1953, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Annabella Miller. George was loved by his stepfather, Robert Blackwell Sr., and his half-brothers John Charles Blackwell, Robert F. "Bobby" Blackwell Jr., and Walter Mathew Blackwell. George was named in honor of his grandfather George and uncle Walter.

George graduated from Moore High School on May 23, 1974. He was born with special needs and was adored by all who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. George had a passion for playing the guitar, listening to music, and enjoyed his weather radio and record player. He held a deep love for cats and cherished going out to eat, especially at Mazzio's Pizza. George was a survivor, having lived through the 1974 tornado on the day of his graduation. He also overcame a massive heart attack in 2017. He spent the last 7.5 years of his life at the Meeker Nursing Center. George cherished his family, particularly his nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his mother, Annabella; stepfather, Robert Blackwell Sr.; half-brother, Robert Jr. "Bobby"; grandparents, George and Dorthia Miller; uncle, Walter Miller; and Richard Ohse.

Survivors include his brother, John Charles Blackwell, and his children, Jessica and Jeanna Blackwell; brother, Walter Mathew Blackwell, wife Sharon Blackwell, and children Mathew, Breanna, and Noah Blackwell; as well as extended family and friends, Judy Blackwell, Susan, Donald, Leah, Elizabeth, and Jonah Ohse, Jimmy and Cindy Edwards.

Poem by Unknown: "Some say Death is quiet, others say he’s loud. Some people hear a shotgun, others not a sound. To some he is a whisper, a senseless breath of smoke. To others he’s a family member; Welcoming them home."

Exodus 33:14: "And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

George Miller will always be loved, never forgotten, and deeply missed. May he find peace and comfort in the presence of the Lord."

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 3:30 P.M. at New Life Baptist Church located at 8900 S. Peebly Road, Newalla, OK 74857.
