Gary Don Delonais

Gary Don Delonais of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on March 22, 2024, after a brief battle with liver cancer.  He was born in Shawnee on June 21, 1950, to Francis Lloyd Delonais and Billie Dean (Persinger) Eaton.

Gary graduated from Konawa High School in 1968 and continued his studies at Oklahoma University.  He met his spouse, Bobbie Ann Albright, in 1968, and they were wed in 1970.  They had one daughter, Brandon LaDon Eaton.  After being in the restaurant business for 40 years, Gary worked as a CPN development coordinator for 12 years until he retired in 2024.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Brandon LaDon Simmons, and her fiancé, Jody McJimsey, and two granddaughters, Sydney O’Quinn and Gentry Brown, all of Vidalia, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at the Mission Church, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, 1601 Gordon Cooper Dr., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
