Dorothy June Bright

Dorothy June Bright of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born in Shawnee on December 28, 1942 and was raised by her loving parents Warren and Ethel Neal. She worked at Hamburger King in Shawnee for 13 years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Don Bright; brother, Warren Barnett; brother-in-law, Leon Fuller; granddaughter, Denisha Lathrop; great grandson, Gunner Prewett; and great great granddaughter, Madilynn Greenlee.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Don Bright; son, Jason Bright and wife, Aimee, of Shawnee; daughters: Tamra Barnett and husband, Frosty, of Oklahoma City, Angela McKay of the home, Cheryl Hall and husband, Steve, of Seminole, Carla Ritchie and husband, Lannie, of the home, Viki Miller of Fletcher; sister, Carol Fuller of Seminole; numerous grandchildren and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church, 1234 E. Highland St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
