Donnie Lee Gorden

Donnie Lee Gorden, 53, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away on February 19, 2025, after diagnosis of pneumonia. He was born at the Lawton Indian Hospital on March 28, 1971, to J.O. and Mary Elizabeth (Boatright) Gorden.

Donnie graduated from Meeker High School in 1989. He learned farming and ranching at an early age. He worked in the oil fields and also worked for Smith House Moving. Later, he became a barber.

In 2011, Donnie met Bonny Davis. They were together for 13 years, the last two years as a married couple.

Donnie enjoyed hanging out with the family and many good friends who he enjoyed talking to on the phone. He loved watching football, especially OSU, and he also loved his “babies”, his three dogs.

Donnie was predeceased by his parents, J.O. and Mary Gorden, and his grandmother, Betty Winship.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Bonny Gorden; son, Cody Gorden; daughter, Hailey Gorden; son, Jady Gorden; identical twin, Johnny Gorden; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
