Donald Edwin Herlacher

Donald Edwin Herlacher of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Friday, February 7, 2025. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, on October 4, 1937, to Alva Ambross Herlacher and Grace Elizabeth (Morse) Herlacher.

Donald spent 28 years in the United States Air Force, where he traveled the world. He was a man of several talents, such as building a home in Woodland Park, Colorado. He was a skilled poker player, winning tournaments. He took great pride in caring for his pets.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister; his wife of 64 years, Carol Lynn (Baker) Herlacher, and his son, Darrell D. Herlacher.

Donald is survived by two sons, Donald F. Herlacher and wife, Virginia, of Louisville, Nebraska, and Mark Herlacher and wife, Rebecca, of Meeker, Oklahoma; and numerous great grandkids.

He will be missed.
