David Keith Reed

David Keith Reed went to his Heavenly Home on August 14, 2024, shortly after a diagnosis of cancer. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on April 4, 1965, to George Reed and Betty (Sanders) Reed.

David attended Shawnee Public Schools. He was hearing impaired as a child, but still managed to live life to the fullest, his way. He resided in Shawnee, Maud, and Oklahoma City. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Reed; mother, Betty Reed; brothers: Rusty West, Steven Reed, and Stacy Reed; sister, Vicki Hopkins; and grandparents, Victor and Gracie Sanders.

David is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law: Mitchell Reed, Ricky and Phyliss Comer, and Eddie and Becky Reed, all of Shawnee; brother-in-law, George Hopkins of Oklahoma City; two aunts; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

David’s ashes will be interred at Dale Cemetery.
