Cheryl Jean Taylor

Cheryl Jean Taylor entered the gates of heaven, March 9, 2024, to go home to Jesus.  She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on January 14, 1943, to Marvin and Golden Sewell.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, crafting, gardening, drawing, and playing dominoes (which she almost always won).  She also enjoyed nature.  After retiring from the TG&Y variety store, she went on to work twenty more years as an office manager of a local doctor’s office.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Golden Courtney and Marvin Sewell, and sister, June Toogood.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bill Taylor; children: Cheri Parsons, Jeff Kleckner, and Rob Taylor; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother; numerous other family members and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29^th St., Del City, Oklahoma 73115.
