Alan Fitzgerald Wallace

Alan Fitzgerald Wallace passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 59.

Alan Fitzgerald Wallace, a man of many talents, was born on January 13, 1965, to James Willie, Sr. and Mattie Lee Wallace in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  As the eleventh of eleven children, he stood out with determination and drive.  After graduating from Shawnee High School, Alan developed his skills at vo-tech in Shawnee, mastering carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, and horticulture.  His expertise led him to a successful career in maintenance at an apartment complex in Oklahoma City.  Alan then studied cabinet making and basic computers.

Alan’s love for his family was boundless.  His daughter and grandkids held a special place in his heart, and he showered them with unconditional love and affection.  His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished them.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, James Wallace, Sr. and Mattie Wallace, sister, Dorothy Mucker, and brothers, Jimmy Wallace, James Wallace, Sammy Wallace, and Cohn Wallace.

Alan leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Brittne Wallace, and grandchildren—Dewayne Wallace, Carter Wallace, Blayze Wallace, and Adah Wallace.  He leaves siblings—Ocie Anthony (Tyler, TX), Tereatha Ollison (Monticello, AR), Bettie Isiaka (Los Angeles, CA), Mae Parks (Moore, OK), Joyce Ann Wallace-Thompson (Shawnee, OK), Joe Wallace (Bakersfield, CA), and David Wallace (Bakersfield, CA), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, 9:30 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.  Viewing will follow after the memorial service until 12:00 noon.
